1. Enabling Recommendations

To activate Ghost’s native recommendation system:
  1. In Ghost Admin, go to Settings → Recommendations.
  2. Click Add recommendation to start adding sites you want to recommend.
  3. Follow the on-screen configurator and save your changes.
Once enabled, Skalven automatically supports the feature without requiring additional setup.

2. Creating a Recommendations Page

Skalven includes a built-in Recommendations page template, allowing you to display all recommended publications in a dedicated layout. To create the page:
  1. Go to Pages in Ghost Admin and create a New Page.
  2. Enter a title such as “Recommendations”.
  3. Open the Page Settings panel (top-right icon).
  4. Scroll to the Template dropdown and select Recommendations.
  5. Close the panel and click Publish.
After publishing, the page will automatically use Skalven’s custom layout and display all your configured recommendations.
