If you want your readers to reach you directly, Skalven includes a built-in contact form integration powered by third-party services like Formspree. Below are the steps to set up your Contact page correctly.

1. Creating the Contact Page

  1. In the Ghost Admin, go to Pages and click New Page.
  2. Set the page title to Contact and ensure the page URL is:
    /contact
  3. (Optional) Add a Description — this text will appear below the page title.
  4. (Optional) Select a Feature Image to display as the header image.
  5. Click Publish to activate the page.

2. Connecting the Contact Form (Formspree or any endpoint)

  1. Go to Design & Branding in the Ghost Admin.
  2. Open the Theme tab in the top-right corner.
  3. Locate the Contact form endpoint setting.
  4. Paste the endpoint URL of your contact form provider.
    Example (Formspree):
    https://formspree.io/f/xnqeazyq
  5. Click Save to confirm the integration.
Skalven automatically connects this endpoint to the built-in contact form layout, so no additional coding is required. Once you configure the endpoint, your contact page will immediately start sending form submissions to your chosen service.
