1. Enable Custom Membership

Skalven replaces Ghost Portal with its own custom membership layout.
To activate it:
  1. In Ghost Admin, go to Design & Branding.
  2. Open the Theme tab in the top-right corner.
  3. Find the Custom membership option and toggle it on.
Once enabled, Skalven will automatically use its own custom Plans page layout instead of Portal.

2. Create the Plans Page

To display your membership tiers using the Skalven layout, you’ll need to manually create a page:
  1. Go to Pages in Ghost Admin and click New Page.
  2. Set the page title to something like “Plans” or “Membership”.
  3. Open the Page Settings panel and set the URL to:
    /plans (required)
  4. (Optional) Add a short intro text in the Excerpt field — this will appear under the page title.
  5. Publish the page.
💡 When this page exists at /plans, Skalven automatically styles it with the custom pricing layout — no extra setup needed.

3. Add Premium Membership Plans

To configure your membership tiers:
  1. Go to Tiers inside the Ghost Admin Settings.
  2. Click Free and update its description and benefits.
  3. Connect your site to Stripe:

  4. Once Stripe is active, click the + button inside the Tiers area to create premium plans.
  5. Add titles, descriptions, benefits, and pricing.
  6. Click Save & close.
Your tiers will now automatically appear on the /plans page.

4. Add FAQs or Custom Content

You can add additional content to the Plans page to help visitors understand your offering:
  1. Open your Membership page in Pages.
  2. Use the Page Content area to add:
    • FAQ sections
    • toggle cards
    • headings
    • images or CTAs
    • any other block or component
  3. Click Update to save changes.
This content appears below the pricing table, giving you a clean and flexible membership landing page.
