The Articles Page is one of the most important pages in your Skalven-powered site.
It serves as the main archive for all regular posts and also powers several homepage sections such as Latest Posts, Featured Posts, and Premium Posts.
Skalven uses a structured homepage layout where content is organized into dedicated preview sections — Articles, Readings, Podcasts, Projects, and Products. Instead of listing every post on the homepage, each section shows a curated preview, while the full list of posts for that category is displayed on its own archive page.
For normal articles, the complete collection is shown on the Articles Page (/blog). This page is essential because Skalven’s content system relies on it to display your latest posts, featured posts, and premium posts in an organized and consistent way.

1. Creating the Articles Page

Follow these steps to set up the Articles Page correctly:
  1. In Ghost Admin, go to Pages and click New Page.
  2. Set the URL of the page to /blog.
This step is required — the Articles system will not work correctly without it.
  3. Add a Feature Image, Title, and Excerpt as you prefer.
You may name the page Articles, Blog, or any title you prefer.
  4. Save and Publish the page.
Once set up, the Articles Page will automatically display all your standard posts with the correct layout and styling — fully integrated with Skalven’s design system.

2. Important Notes

  • When publishing regular articles, never add the tags podcasts, readings, projects, or products.
These tags are reserved exclusively for Skalven’s custom sections.
  • For standard articles, always use the Default post template.
If you select a template designed for Podcasts, Readings, Projects, or Products, the post layout may break or display incorrectly.
