# Home Page

> Skalven’s homepage is powered by a custom template that automatically showcases fragments of your key content types—including articles, readings, projects, podcasts, and products. Using the built-in homepage toggles, you can easily show or hide each section to create the layout you prefer.

## **1. Homepage Setup**

Skalven uses a custom **home.hbs** template to build the homepage.\
This template displays multiple content sections, each showing a preview (fragment) of different post types:

* Latest Articles
* Readings
* Projects
* Podcasts
* Products

For the homepage to work correctly, you must upload the **routes.yaml** file included in the Skalven theme package. This file ensures Ghost loads the custom homepage instead of the default one.

## **2. Showing or Hiding Homepage Sections**

In **Design & branding → Theme Settings → Homepage**, you can toggle each section on or off.

Available toggles:

* **Home Readings**
* **Home Projects**
* **Home Podcasts**
* **Home Products**

These sections are **enabled by default**.\
If you prefer not to show a section, simply turn its toggle off.
