# Authors Page

> Create a custom Authors page and showcase all writers using Skalven’s built-in Authors template.

## **1. Creating an Authors Page**

Follow the steps below to set up a dedicated Authors page in Skalven:

1. In the **Ghost Admin**, go to **Pages** and click **New Page**.
2. Enter a page title — for example: **Our Authors** or **Meet the Writers**.
3. (Optional) Add an **icon** or a **small header image**. This will appear above the title and give your page a more polished look.
4. Open the **Page Settings** panel (top-right icon).
5. (Optional) Add a **Description** in the **Excerpt** field — this text will show just below the page title.
6. Scroll down to the **Template** dropdown and select the **Authors** template.
7. Click **Publish** to activate the page.

Once published, Skalven will automatically display all authors in a clean, modern grid layout using its built-in Authors template.
