# Theme Translation

> Learn how to enable and manage Skalven’s built-in language support for a fully localized site experience.

## **1. How to Change Your Site’s Language**

To update the language used for theme translations, follow these steps:

1. **Open your Ghost Admin panel.**
2. Go to **Settings → General**.
3. Find the **Publication Language** field.
4. By default, it is set to **en** (English).
5. Replace **en** with your desired **language code** (e.g., `tr`, `fr`, `de`).
6. **Save your settings**.

## 2. Supported Languages

The Skalven theme fully supports 12 languages. These languages are:

* English `en`
* German `de`
* Portuguese `pt`
* Spanish `es`
* French `fr`
* Turkish `tr`
* Italian `it`
* Dutch `nl`
* Polish `pl`
* Russian `ru`
* Ukrainian `uk`
* Indonesian `id`
